Aug 28, 2005 · Lol, at least there are some aftermarket parts out there for the older model Toyotas. It cost me just in parts (including Rims and tires) close to $9500 to get the lift I got on my 2005 tundra, I guess if I was really smart I would have bought an older T-100 and could have redone it from the ground up and had some money left over. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Jan 12, 2017 · The hardest step in the replacement will be breaking the bolt that holds the puley to the crankshaft. Best option is to break it loose with the engine's starter, tranny in neutral, wire off the coil. Use a 6-point (sided), 19mm, impact socket and a breaker bar long enough to reach the frame rail, then bump the starter until the bolt breaks free.

Unfortunately, engnbldr closed their shop because of health problems. Those power goals are relatively low and nothing a stock rebuild can't support but, if you're wanting SS I'd recommend GSC SS I/E valves. If you bent valves it's not a bad idea to get new valve guides either, especially if they've never been replaced.
I rebuilt mine using all engnbldr parts; even the head gasket. almost 20k on the rebuild, and going strong. Had the block hot tanked, the head checked out and cleaned, rebuilt injectors, etc. Stock sized piston and bearings all around.
